Operations from POMIGLIANO. Task: Armed recco of roads ROME-VITERGO-MAGLIANO and ROME-CEPRANO-SORA-AVEZZANO. 5 A/C took off, one returned early to POMIGLIANO with bombs owing to port engine trouble, remaining four bombed from 1915-0455; 2 landed at POMIGLIANO and 2 were diverted to CELONE. 1st A/C reported clear visibility over target area but later there were fog banks in valleys, and the dawn A/S reported 9/10 stratus covering whole Western area with downward vis. NIL except in occasional thin layer. Weather closed in at POMIGLIANO necessitating diversions. 1st A/C reported trend of movement E to ROME and N from ROME but later A/C reported movement S into ROME from roads in the N. Various groups of M/T bombed, at least one direct hot claimed. No Opposition
