Marie Cecilie Møller Hansen is naturalized in Canada in 1941 before enlistment in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a nurse.
Pvt. Nora V. Thomsen enlisted in the Women’s Army Corps (WAC) in 1943. She was one of twenty-nine Danish born WACs during the Second World War.
Torkild Lunøe is one of a small number of Danish pilots who volunteers for the Malayan Volunteer Air Force during the Second World War. He is captured by the Japanese and is sent to the notorious Burma-Siam Railway also known as the "Death Railway."
Hans Andersen is one of the Danes who volunteers for the Royal Canadian Air Force. He serves an Aero Engine Mechanic.
