Danish WW2 Pilots

Raymond Marquis Nielsen

(1916–1992)

Raymond Marquis Nielsen is born on 16 December 1916. He is in service in Royal Air Force during the Second World War as Wireless Operator/Air Gunner. I have few details on his service though. [1]

On 6 December 1941 he is promoted from Sergeant (645518) to an emergency commission as Pilot Officer (on probation) (47709). [2]

On 26 October 1942 he is promoted to Flying Officer, and on 22 December 1943 to Flying Officer. [3]

At some point, he serves in No. 180 Squadron, 2n Tactical Air Force on B25 Michells. [4]
