Details

Task NURNBERG. Bombed on red and green T.I. at 2322 hrs from 15,000 ft. Visibility was moderate with no cloud. Flares dropped at 2346 hrs, 2 green T.I. flares were borught back as red and green T.I. already dropped were rather scattered. Fires were well concentrated south of aiming point. Heavy working in cones. Over MANHEIM saw trackers from E/C, then another A/C blew up and fell in flames. Over target at 2337 hrs, an A/C blew up presumed struck before bomb load was discharged. One photo attempted. Bomb load 2 x T.I. yellow 2 x T.I. green, 1 x 4,000 HC, 8 x 8 x 30 incens.
