Raid carried out from Graveley against Foret de Nieppe
8x1000 AMN.65.T.025. 00.19.30 hours. 11,500 feet. 220 T 104 knots. No cloud below. Good visibility. Target identified by target indicators red and green. On first run up, saw reds only, 200-300 yards to east of aiming point, but as no instructions received from M/B to drop flares, made second run but reds had gone out and no TI’s visible. On third run, saw 3 greens in a line and bombed the centre one which was in bombsight. Bombing generally was very scattered, though the marking appeared fair.
