Details
Comditions were almost ideal for this operation, planned as a last light attack. Weather was fine and clear over the target area, with slight haze and strato.cu above aircraft on outward journey. Thundery conditions prevailed to the north of track. All aircraft dropped their bombs in the target area 'Vs' [AE569] two sticks causing sufficient smoke and debris to render difficult observation of bomb burst of following aircraft. 60 packets of News Sheet H3 were dropped over the Kaladan Valley Area on the return journey.
