Ejnar Ydvar Dichow is born on 15 April 1909 in Næsby, Vestenskov Parish, Denmark. He is the son of farmer Frederik Thorvald and Petra Marie Dichow (née Espersen). [1]
He arrives in Halifax on 14 May 1933 on-board SS UNITED STATES which the intention of staying in Canada. He had already been in Canada from 1930-32. He is married in Quebec in November 1940. [2]
During the Second World War he in service in the Royal Canadian Air Force as sergeant (R.66537). [3]
It is not clear to me if he is naturalised before enlistment.
