This is the Prime Minister's second visit to the Continent recently and each time the Squadron has escorted him there. We seem to be singled out for this purpose and regard it as a great honour and credit to No. 1. The escort was carried out uneventfully and according to plan. The Squadron cirkled Volkel whilst the Dakota landed safely and taxied to Dispersal. Our aircraft put down at Ursel and spent the night there. |
