Ramrod 223 Part III. The North Weald Wing was acting as High Cover to 18 Mitchells bombing the Marshalling Yards at Serqueux. The operation was carried out according to plan - bombers being followed to target and out. The bombing appeared inaccurate. No e/a were seen. The weather over France was clear but haze up to 9,000 feet. |
