Circus 259. 11 a/c led by Maj. Birksted took off to be target support to 12 Venturas bombing Abbeville Aerodome. Several combats occurred with F.W. 190's. 2 e/a were probably destroyed by Ltn's. Heglund and Gran. Ltn. Bjornstad and sgt. Berg-Olsen each damaged a F.W. 190. All landed safely. |
