Armed reccos. ROTTERDAM-UTRECHT area. 11 a/c of 331 Sqdr operation in 3 sections took part in this operation. The first section of 4 a/c led by capt. Grundt-Spang, was airborne at 7.40 hrs. They attacked a large (...) tug in the canal N.E. of GAUDA, scoring numerous strikes with cannon and M/G fire, resulting in the tug breaking.
