Bent Knudsen is at sea at the time the Germans occupy Denmark. He ends up in Australia where he volunteers for the Royal Australian Air Force. He is in service as guard until the end of the war.
Pfc Carl Frederick Christensen served in the USAAF in North Africa during the Second World War. Born in Denmark in 1920, he emigrated to the United States in 1928.
Harald Julius Hansen is pilot in the Danish Airlines before the war. By fate, he is in London on 9. April 1940, when German troops cross the Danish border. He is attached to the Air Transport Auxiliary, but he dies from his injuries following a flying accident in 1941.
Knud Rosenauer Hauch is in service in the Royal Air Force during the Second World War. He is promoted to Squadron Leader and is awarded the OBE.
